About This Software Create in VROSCKit is a virtual reality environment for composition and performance. Using Open Sound Control (OSC), OSCKit integrates with production software like Ableton Live or Max/MSP for a customizable creative workflow, no programming experience required!Inspired by apps like TouchOSC and Lemur, this software aims to bring that same functionality into the 3rd dimension. How It WorksOSCKit does not generate audio by itself, but rather controls another production software of your choosing. This is done using OSC messages - small packets of information that, for instance, tell a program to press a note or turn a knob. Loads of software supports OSC including:Ableton LiveLogic Pro XCubaseMax/MSPPure DataFeatures8 expressive control types including sliders, knobs and pads.Built-in integration with TouchOSC Bridge for MIDI I/O.Simple UI for one-button arrangement and performance.Saving/Reopening kits for later expansion and sharing.Customizable OSC addressing system. 7aa9394dea Title: OSCKitGenre: Audio Production, UtilitiesDeveloper:MORAPublisher:MORARelease Date: 12 Feb, 2018 OSCKit Download Utorrent lille osc kit I'll be frank because I was really excited to see something like this on Steam, but in its current form, I don't see how the developers could have put in any less effort to make this program approachable, or actually usable as a tool for composition and performance. The menu system is absolutely terrible, with no explanation for how to set this up. I was able to get things working because I have done quite a bit of work with OSC applications, but there is no way someone with any less experience would have any hope of getting this thing connected and working. As well, there is no real menu, no options, no way to change network settings after the initial setup. Seriously, how is someone supposed to actually use this if they can't edit the IP address's after the fact? There isn't even a way to name save files, which doesn't actually matter because it didn't save the environment I made anyways. It does work, you can get OSC to stream from within the environment into MaxMSP, etc, and there are a lot of cool different interfaces\/controls to choose from. There is a lot of potential here, but IMHO, in its current form it is completely useless.
